A Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) credit union is a specialized financial cooperative dedicated to providing financial services and support to underserved communities. These credit unions aim to foster economic development and financial inclusion by offering affordable loans, financial education, and other resources to low-income individuals, small businesses, and community organizations.
Is there a cost associated with the financial education seminars and tabling services?
No, these services are absolutely FREE!
Are you interested in a financial education seminar?
SkyPoint FCU is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). As such, one of our biggest objectives is to serve unbanked (no banking relationships) and underbanked (limited access to financial institutions) communities. We would love to partner with your organization for a financial seminar. Please send us an email using the Contact us button below. In the email, please include:
- Your name and title
- A brief description of your organization
- Whether you are interested in a virtual or in-person session (we encourage in-person sessions for maximum engagement, but offer the virtual option for flexibility)
- Three available dates and times for the seminar/please set aside at minimum a one-hour time block)
- The number of expected participants
- The financial topics you would like us to discuss
We are able to set a recurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly session if you are interested in more than one topic (most of our clients use this method!). We will follow up with you within 1-2 business days to confirm the details. We look forward to the opportunity to connect with your staff and the people you serve to increase financial wellness in our communities, while building brand awareness around the benefits of a SkyPoint membership.
